Half-day kindergarten provides the core kindergarten curriculum in a morning half-day format. The program focuses on preparing students for success in 1st grade and offers opportunities for students to attend classes such as art and music towards the end of the school year as part of an extended day.

Gilbert Public Schools Governing Board approved that in November 2024, voters living within Gilbert Public School boundaries will decide on a proposed 15% budget override continuation. This would be a continuation of the existing budget override approved by voters in November 2019 and in place since the 2020/21 school year.

School social workers are essential to the overall well-being of students, offering support designed to give students, teachers, and parents the necessary tools so students can focus on learning.

The application portal for free and reduced lunch for the 2024/25 school year is now open.
As a reminder, a new meal application is required every year to determine eligibility for the current school year.

Free Summer Meals! For kids and teens 18 years old and younger We provide FREE, HEALTHY, NUTRITIOUS meals to be consumed on-site. Adults may purchase breakfast for $2.75 and lunch for $4.75 (CASH ONLY). All sites closed 4th July.
